From Our Customers

Very easy to work with! The office staff and drivers are friendly and helpful. I know I'm not an easy stop for them. One time they had a new driver that missed my pickup, and when I called the office, they told me if the driver was still close, he'd be back that day to pick up. If not, they would send another truck the next day. The truck was back within the hour! I appreciate their honesty and the effort they put in.

We've been using Compost Connection for over a year now and love it. They never miss our house and are very easy to work with. You can tell customer service is important to them. It's nice to not have bags of yard waste sitting for months and to know it's being composted instead of going to a landfill!

Frequently Asked Questions

We pick up any and all natural yard waste, including grass, leaves, tree limbs, flowers, garden plants, walnuts, apples, Christmas trees, and more.

We don’t pick up trash, construction material, dead animals, animal feces, fireplace ash, or lumber, though, so please don’t bag up those things with your yard waste.

You can either use leaf and lawn paper bags from your local hardware store or from Amazon*, or if you have sticks and brush that doesn’t fit well into a bag, you can bundle brush using rope or twine.

Please be sure that any brush you bundle is tied into no more than 18″ x 36″ sized bundles.

Paper bags can be folded over at the top and taped with masking tape. Please don’t use plastic or duct tape since they’re not biodegradable. While the bags hold up very well, be careful when dragging if the bottoms are wet so they don’t tear.

After you sign up for service, we will email you a confirmation message with your yard waste collection date.
